Simmered Konjac with Konbu

This dish is perfect for dieters!

Ingredients (serves 4)

20 cm-long konbu 400g konjac 1 tsp sesame oil 1 tbsp brown sugar A little ginger 2 tbsp soysauce 2 tbsp konbu stock


1. Boil the Konjac and cut into 1cm pieces.

2. Soak the dried Konbu in water until soft, then cut into 1cm long. Slice the ginger into thin pieces.

3. Heat the pan with oil and cook the Konbu and Konjac. Then add the ginger and sugar and leave for a while.

4. Add the soysauce and the Konbu stock, then cover and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes.
