Stewed Soybeans with Konbu


A super healthy combination of ingredients with soybeans and konbu!

Ingredients (serves 4)

1 cup boiled soybeans

10g konbu

1/2 carrot

50g sugar

1/2 tsp salt

1 tbsp soy sauce

Method

1. To boil the soybeans:

Soak the soybeans in plenty of water for 6 hours. Dispose of the soaking water, and boil the soaked beans in a liter of water until tender.

2. Once the soybeans are tender, add the carrots and the konbu (cut into 1cm pieces). Add sugar and boil for 5 more minutes. Finally, add the soy sauce, remove from the heat, and serve.
