Harusame Soup

This light soup is easy on the stomach, even when your appetite is low.

Ingredients (serves 4)

At least 50g harusame noodles

100g chinese cabbage

4 thin slices of ham

1 tbsp chicken bone broth

1/2 tsp sesame oil

1 tsp white roasted sesame

A little pepper

3.5 cups water


1. Cut the chinese cabbage into 5cm lengths and slice thinly in the direction of the fibers. Cut the ham into thin slices like the cabbage, and cut the noodles into 10cm lengths.

2. Add the water and bone broth to a pot, add the cabbage and ham, and bring to the boil. Once boiling, add the noodles. Boil for 2 or 3 minutes, then add the roasted sesame and sesame oil. Add salt and pepper to taste, and serve.
